Triangle Minutes Jan 28th 2007
Reading of the minutes... (last weeks)
- Superbowl Sunday (First week of Feb)
- Dinner into party
- 6/7 Game
- Food 20min before kick off
- Pizza, Soda, no alcohol, Chips
- Couple new guys over, Chris (D and D), Josh, Greg, Mark
- Love to see tons of pledges 7 plus ++
- Remember to invite people over who are intrested
- Garret, kyle, & sam (yes or no)?
- Think of recuritment events,
- Poker Night
- Talk to IT Honors People about events sharing
- Joint bowling night?
- Look at next Thursday Maybe
- When is date for next initiation.
- initiation day would be 4-21-07 two weeks before finals
- Pledge week would be 2-17-07
- Ideas to make study brothers better
- Go through at meet to see what the pairs are doing
- Expand extend of the system, Brothers should do more, check out the homework is getting in, silent hours...
- Perhaps a scholastic chair to check in with everyone
- More consequence type actions, like cut computer use after a certain time.
- Need some thing to make sure the study brother is checking up on stuff.
- Not sure if we can participate in events with IFC because we are below a 2.75. Warning given, no privileges removed.
- Did new members fill out grade release forms? No, need to do that.
- What the hell are we doing? Grades are so damn low!!!!!!!! We are here to get a degree, how the hell are we going to motivate everyone.
- Humiliating that all members don't care about failing classes. What do we do? We make all these ideas, something need to be put in place that people follow.
- Environment that makes people care
- Alumni are great that we be pie as a gpa, now they suck. We need to prove to them we deserve their help and living up to their reputation. Make people do things if they need to do them, but don't allow them to participate.
- People need to be accountable for their stuff
- Social Pressure on games needs to be lower so obligation to play isn't there.
- Blanket system might not work, study hours might be important, must fill obligation to participate.
- Kurt will get information from Tiffany about how they handle study problems.
- Calendar setup for what things we have due and checkups.

2. Keep continually doing their job.
3. 3 person committee
4. Decide on rewards/consequences for people(bring back up at meeting)

- Give pi to as many places as you can.
- How do you play frisbee golf?
- What is your favorite game?
- What are your hobbies?
- What is your ideal Date?
- What's the nerdiest thing you've ever done?
- Who is your role model and why?
Alpha Phi is having it same week.
